By selecting the correct Skirting Board, Architrave, Cornice or moulding you can give the finishing touch to your project. At Architectural Joinery we pay close attention to detail and manufacture our own range of Period and Contemporary Mouldings, we feel mass produced mouldings have lost their elegance over the years, so we decided to reproduce our own faithfully copied range from original sections.

Our Contemporary Range has been designed by ourselves, providing simple clean sleek lines that complement our range of floors.

For the Period home owner we offer a bespoke profile matching service where any moulding can be reproduced either from a small sample or drawing, there is no need to compromise on off the shelf products that do not match, have your moulding faithfully reproduced in house by ourselves.

For Contemporary homes why not design your own sections which will help to achieve a truly unique look, just send us a drawing or sample and we would be happy to quote you.

How we match or design a Profile

We scan your sample or drawing and reproduce a template of your moulding via our C.N.C. Template Maker, we can also import Autocad drawings directly into our machine.

We then Grind the cutters on our SCM Visage Profile Grinder producing cutters that match your profile.

The cutter is then measured so that it can be programmed into our Through Feed Moulder.

The cutter is put onto our C.N.C. SCM Superset Class 6 Head Through Feed Moulder and programmed in. The timber is fed in and the profile is reproduced.
